“Every year in Germany, over 100.000 children are reported missing.”, these words open up a video about a project called ‘Germany will find you’ and these words open up the analysis of this same project.

Germany will find you is a campaign, spread over different media platforms, that tries to raise awareness for the search of missing children in Germany. For the M.A. course ‘Transmedia Storytelling I’ at Tallinn University Baltic Film and Media School, Estonia, I analyzed the project, searching for cross- and transmediatic parts of the project and giving ideas what should be changed.

Created by the advertising agencies kempertrautmann (now thjnk) and fischerAppelt, the Initiative for Missing Children is taking care of the project. It is online since 2010 and until the beginning of 2012 4 children could be found thanks to Germany will find you.
